How do I pay the seller for a car abroad, and does DAExport hold the money?

Do I pay the seller directly or through you? I worry a transfer to another country could vanish.

The money for the car goes straight to the seller — DAExport never holds the purchase price of a car. You pay us only for services (for example the inspection), through Stripe after approving the full price.
A safe pattern: pay only after the inspection, to an account of the person or company that matches the car documents, with a contract or invoice showing the VIN. Checking who the registration papers name is part of the inspection (€278.30 incl. VAT).
