What do I need to import a car from Germany to Spain?

I want to buy a used car in Munich and register it in Spain. What steps should I take before bringing it over?

Before paying anything, check the history and the real condition of the car. We do the inspection at the seller (€278.30 incl. VAT) and send a photo report within 48 h. If Munich is inside our own radius we do it ourselves; beyond that a fixed price of €367 applies.
Then come export plates, the purchase contract and transport. Registration in Spain (inspection, taxes) is handled by you or your local agent — we do not file it, but the report and the verified paperwork make it easier.
