Will the inspector actually tell me not to buy the car?

asked by Elena on

I'm afraid the report will be polite and everything will be "fixable". Will you write "don't buy" if the car is bad?

Yes. The report carries a score and a one-sentence verdict, and when the evidence points to walking away, that is what it says. Only the buyer pays us, so we have no reason to soften conclusions.

Every finding rests on a photo or a measurement: paint in micrometres, tread depth, brake wear, OBD codes. You see where the rating comes from, not just an opinion.

That is the moment the €278.30 inspection pays for itself most – you avoid the purchase, the repairs and the tow. See the verdict in a sample report, and read the worth-it guide.
